Description

A healthy and delicious homemade sugar-free strawberry jam that bursts with fresh strawberry flavor, perfect for toast, desserts, and more.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar substitute (like Stevia or Erythritol)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon pectin (optional for thickening)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the fresh strawberries and water. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer.
  2. Using a potato masher or a fork, mash the strawberries until you reach your desired consistency.
  3. Stir in the sugar substitute, lemon juice, and pectin (if you’re using it). Cook on low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once thickened, remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Transfer to sterilized jars and store in the refrigerator.

Notes

For a more intense strawberry flavor, use ripe, fresh strawberries. Adjust the sweetness to your taste by varying the amount of sugar substitute.
