- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan. Press half of the sugar cookie dough into the bottom to form a crust.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly. Stir in vanilla extract, sour cream, baking powder, and salt.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust. Drop spoonfuls of remaining sugar cookie dough on top. Bake for 50-60 minutes until edges set and center jiggles slightly.
- Cool at room temperature for an hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding lemon zest or almond extract. Let the cheesecake cool completely before refrigerating for better setting.
