Description

A delightful summer dessert featuring juicy strawberries and sweet peaches in a flaky crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the strawberries, peaches, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  3. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish. Fill with the fruit mixture and dot with butter.
  4. Cover with another layer of pie crust or create a lattice pattern. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Allow the pie to cool before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Can store at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerate for 5 days.
