Description

A delightful dessert that combines rich chocolate flavors with fresh strawberries, featuring a creamy filling and moist chocolate cake.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup crushed strawberries
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat until smooth.
  3. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. In a separate bowl, mix crushed strawberries, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth. Pour over the chocolate batter and top with remaining batter.
  4. Sprinkle shredded coconut and chopped nuts on top. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or refrigerate for longer storage.
