Description

Crispy wonton wrappers filled with a creamy strawberry cheesecake mixture for a delightful dessert.


Ingredients

  • 8 wonton wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry sauce (optional)
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface and add a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center.
  3. Top with a small amount of chopped strawberries.
  4. Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with water and fold over to seal, making sure there are no air pockets.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan suitable for frying.
  6. Fry the wonton bites until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  7. Remove and drain the bites on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with strawberry sauce before serving.

Notes

Store any leftover wonton bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in an oven or air fryer to restore crispiness.
