Description

Savory and sweet meatballs coated in a thick, sticky honey garlic sauce, perfect for family dinners or parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, minced onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Heat until it starts to bubble.
  5. Drizzle the sauce over the meatballs and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

You can substitute ground chicken or pork for a different flavor. For extra sauce, double the sauce ingredients. These meatballs pair well with rice or steamed vegetables.
