- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, minced onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Heat until it starts to bubble.
- Drizzle the sauce over the meatballs and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
You can substitute ground chicken or pork for a different flavor. For extra sauce, double the sauce ingredients. These meatballs pair well with rice or steamed vegetables.
