Festive and fun cake pops celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, easy to make and customizable with colorful candy melts and sprinkles.
Ingredients

- 1 box of cake mix
- Eggs (as called for on the cake mix box)
- Oil (as called for on the cake mix box)
- Water (as called for on the cake mix box)
- 1 cup of frosting
- Candy melts or chocolate for coating
- Green sprinkles for decorating
- Lollipop sticks
Instructions
- Bake the cake according to the box instructions and let it cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large mixing bowl.
- Add frosting to the mixture and mix until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Insert lollipop sticks into each ball and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the candy melts or chocolate according to package instructions.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted coating, letting the excess drip off.
- Decorate with green sprinkles while the coating is still wet.
- Allow the decorated cake pops to set before serving.
Notes
Store leftover cake pops in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
