  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach (torn)
  • 1/2 cup red onion (sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
  2. Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the flatbread surface.
  3. Evenly distribute the torn fresh spinach leaves, sliced red onions, and sliced garlic over the mozzarella.
  4. Top with the crumbled feta cheese, distributing it evenly across the flatbread.
  5. Carefully place the assembled flatbread on the preheated pizza stone and bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese melts and the edges become golden and crispy.
  6. Remove the flatbread from the oven and drizzle lightly with olive oil, then sprinkle with sea salt. Let it cool for 2-3 minutes before slicing into portions.

Notes

For a more robust flavor, sauté the red onions and garlic in olive oil before topping them on the flatbread. You can use whole wheat or gluten-free flatbread as desired.
