- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
- Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the flatbread surface.
- Evenly distribute the torn fresh spinach leaves, sliced red onions, and sliced garlic over the mozzarella.
- Top with the crumbled feta cheese, distributing it evenly across the flatbread.
- Carefully place the assembled flatbread on the preheated pizza stone and bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese melts and the edges become golden and crispy.
- Remove the flatbread from the oven and drizzle lightly with olive oil, then sprinkle with sea salt. Let it cool for 2-3 minutes before slicing into portions.
Notes
For a more robust flavor, sauté the red onions and garlic in olive oil before topping them on the flatbread. You can use whole wheat or gluten-free flatbread as desired.
