A unique dessert that combines the crunchiness of pretzels with the tangy zest of ranch dressing, creating a delightful mix of sweet and savory.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzel rods
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzel rods with melted butter and press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In another bowl, mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, and ranch dressing mix, then add eggs and sour cream, mixing until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, then gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter over the pretzel crust and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool in the pan before slicing into squares.

Notes

Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled. Can be drizzled with ranch dressing or served with whipped cream.
