Description
A delightful blend of flavors and textures, these tacos combine juicy marinated meat with tangy kimchi, perfect for a casual dinner or special gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef (or chicken) sliced thinly
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 tortillas
- 1 cup kimchi
- 1/4 cup scallions, chopped
- Cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the gochujang, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Marinate the sliced meat in this mixture for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse deeply.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated meat and cook until it is fully cooked through, about 5–7 minutes until browned.
- While the meat cooks, warm the tortillas on another skillet to make them more pliable and enhance their flavor.
- Assemble the tacos by placing the cooked meat on warm tortillas and topping with kimchi and chopped scallions.
- Finish off by garnishing each taco with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
For a smoky flavor, consider grilling the meat. Adjust gochujang to taste if sensitive to spice.
