Description

A delightful blend of flavors and textures, these tacos combine juicy marinated meat with tangy kimchi, perfect for a casual dinner or special gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (or chicken) sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 tortillas
  • 1 cup kimchi
  • 1/4 cup scallions, chopped
  • Cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the gochujang, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Marinate the sliced meat in this mixture for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse deeply.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated meat and cook until it is fully cooked through, about 5–7 minutes until browned.
  3. While the meat cooks, warm the tortillas on another skillet to make them more pliable and enhance their flavor.
  4. Assemble the tacos by placing the cooked meat on warm tortillas and topping with kimchi and chopped scallions.
  5. Finish off by garnishing each taco with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

For a smoky flavor, consider grilling the meat. Adjust gochujang to taste if sensitive to spice.
