- 1 tsp Matcha Powder (ceremonial grade)
- 2 oz Hot Water (about 175°F or 80°C)
- 8 oz Milk (dairy or non-dairy such as oat or almond)
- 1–2 tsp Honey (or to taste)
Instructions
- Begin by measuring 1 teaspoon of ceremonial grade matcha powder into a small bowl.
- Slowly add 2 ounces of hot water to the matcha powder and whisk until fully dissolved and frothy.
- Heat 8 ounces of milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until just steaming.
- Remove from heat and pour the milk into the bowl with the whisked matcha. Add honey to taste and stir until blended.
Notes
Serve fresh, but can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours. Reheat gently and avoid boiling.
