Description

S’mores French Macarons combine the classic flavors of a campfire treat with the delicate texture of French pastries featuring a chocolate shell, marshmallow fluff, and chocolate ganache.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 large egg whites
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1/2 cup chocolate ganache
  • 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, ensuring it is adhered well.
  2. Blend together almond flour, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
  3. Whip the egg whites in a separate bowl until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites, adding vanilla extract and mixing until combined.
  5. Transfer the batter to a piping bag fitted with a round tip and pipe small circles onto the baking sheet.
  6. Allow the macarons to sit for 30 minutes to form a skin.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes until they hold their shape, then let them cool completely.
  8. Spread marshmallow fluff on half of the macaron shells, top each with chocolate ganache and crushed graham crackers, then place the other half of the shells on top.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for a month.
