Description
A delightful fusion of smash burgers and tacos, these tacos combine juicy beef patties with fresh toppings wrapped in warm tortillas.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small taco-sized tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Your favorite burger sauces (ketchup, mustard, mayo)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Divide the ground beef into 8 equal balls and place them on the skillet. Smash each ball with a spatula to form a patty.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until browned, then season with salt and pepper. Flip the patties and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until cooked through.
- While the burgers are cooking, warm the tortillas on a separate skillet.
- Once the patties are ready, assemble the tacos by placing a burger patty on each tortilla, followed by lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, and your favorite sauces.
- Fold the tortillas and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve hot for the best experience. You can present them with additional sauces for dipping and pair them with chips and salsa or a fresh salad.
