- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat; add garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper, stirring to combine.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the chicken, shred if desired, and return to the sauce. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Use fresh herbs for better flavor. Adjust seasoning to taste and consider searing the chicken for added depth.
