Description

Perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these sliced baked potatoes make a fantastic side dish that is easy to prepare and incredibly versatile.


Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary (optional)
  • Shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and slice the potatoes into even rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Place the sliced potatoes in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and optional rosemary over the potatoes, then toss to coat.
  5. Arrange the potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  7. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top in the last 5 minutes of baking.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy the crispy edges and fluffy interiors.

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak sliced potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before baking.
