- 4 large potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon rosemary (optional)
- Shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and slice the potatoes into even rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Place the sliced potatoes in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and optional rosemary over the potatoes, then toss to coat.
- Arrange the potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top in the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Serve hot and enjoy the crispy edges and fluffy interiors.
Notes
For extra crispiness, soak sliced potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before baking.
