Description

A delightful dish featuring tender shrimp and crisp broccoli, luxuriously coated in garlic butter, perfect for quick weeknight dinners or cozy weekends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbly and fragrant.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Toss the shrimp into the skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Once the shrimp is cooked, add the broccoli florets to the skillet and cook, stirring gently, for another 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still bright green.
  5. Squeeze fresh lemon juice all over the dish and stir to combine.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with rice, quinoa, or pasta. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
