Description

Savory Shrimp Crab Biscuit Melts are a delightful treat featuring flaky, buttery biscuits filled with a creamy seafood blend, perfect for meals, snacks, or appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
  • 0.5 cup cooked shrimp, finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup cooked lump crab meat
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, lump crab meat, shredded cheese, mayonnaise or cream cheese, garlic powder, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended into a creamy seafood mixture.
  2. Flatten each biscuit round to approximately 4 to 5 inches in diameter. Place 1 to 2 tablespoons of the seafood filling in the center of each round. Fold the edges over the filling and pinch to seal, forming a filled biscuit pocket.
  3. Arrange the stuffed biscuits seam-side down on a baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 13 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  4. Allow the biscuits to rest for several minutes before serving to let the filling set. Serve warm with dipping sauces like spicy aioli or marinara.

Notes

For a stronger seafood flavor, consider adding Old Bay seasoning. You can customize the cheese for different flavor profiles.
