Rich and chewy blondies combining sweet and salty flavors with crunchy pretzels and a drizzle of salted caramel sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pretzels, chopped
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
- Sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter, then add the brown sugar and mix until combined.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped pretzels and half of the salted caramel sauce.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce on top.
- Sprinkle extra pretzels and sea salt over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Best enjoyed with vanilla ice cream and additional salted caramel sauce drizzled on top.
