- 1 pre-made pizza crust
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 ounces salami, sliced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until they are soft and lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the mushrooms from the skillet and set them aside. Place the pizza crust in the skillet and spread marinara sauce evenly on top.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by salami slices and sautéed mushrooms. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cover the skillet with a lid and cook on low heat for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil if desired, then slice the pizza into wedges and serve warm.
Notes
For a crispier crust, pre-bake the crust for a few minutes before adding toppings. Adjust the seasoning to taste.
