Description

A delightful dessert featuring roasted pears, creamy goat cheese, and a sweet maple walnut drizzle.


Ingredients

  • 2 Pears
  • 4 oz Goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Begin by slicing the pears in half and removing the cores.
  2. Drizzle the inside of the pears with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the pears cut-side up on a baking sheet and roast them in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  4. While the pears are roasting, combine the walnuts and maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Remove the pears from the oven, top each half with goat cheese, and drizzle the warm maple walnut mixture over them.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy this luscious dessert.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or incorporate into a cheese board for a beautiful appetizer.
