- 2 Ribeye steaks
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
Instructions
- Take the steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over high heat.
- Pat the steaks dry with a paper towel and season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
- Add olive oil to the pan or grill. Once hot, add the steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- During the last minute of cooking, add minced garlic and herbs if using.
- Remove the steaks from heat and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve and enjoy your perfectly cooked Ribeye Steak!
