Description

Delightful bite-sized Reuben Sliders with pastrami, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese in sweet Hawaiian rolls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package King’s Hawaiian rolls (12 count)
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 3/4 lb pastrami or corned beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 9 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. While the oven is heating, drain the sauerkraut well and set aside, ensuring excess moisture is removed.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and spread Thousand Island dressing on both sides. Layer the bottom halves with pastrami, then sprinkle sauerkraut over the meat, top with Swiss cheese slices, and place the top bun back on.
  3. Mix the melted butter with Worcestershire sauce and crushed garlic. Brush this mixture over the tops of the assembled sliders.
  4. Cover the sliders with foil and bake for about 30 minutes or until they are golden brown and the cheese is melty. Cut into individual servings and serve warm.

Notes

Draining sauerkraut thoroughly prevents soggy sliders. Use real Swiss cheese for optimal meltiness.
