Delicious donuts filled with creamy cheesecake and tart raspberry preserves, perfect for any sweet craving.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup raspberry preserves
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fill each donut cavity about half full with batter.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese and raspberry preserves until smooth.
  7. Add a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture into the center of each donut cavity, then top with more batter until nearly full.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the pan.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with powdered sugar, and consider pairing with coffee or tea. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days.
