- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken slices and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and mixed vegetables, stir-frying until tender.
- Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir to combine.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing everything together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce for 15-30 minutes before cooking. Feel free to substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu.
