- 2 cups pretzel crumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Set up a breading station with bowls for flour, egg mixture, and pretzel crumbs.
- Dip each chicken breast in flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally coat with pretzel crumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Transfer the fried chicken to a baking dish.
- Combine shredded cheddar cheese and Dijon mustard in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until melted.
- Spoon the sauce over each chicken breast and bake for 15-20 minutes until thoroughly cooked.
- Remove from the oven, let rest briefly, and serve warm.
Notes
For extra crunch, use coarse pretzel crumbs and ensure oil is hot before frying. Marinate chicken in buttermilk for added flavor if desired.
