Description
Delicious Pineapple Barbecue Chicken Thighs that combine the sweetness of pineapple with smoky barbecue flavors. Perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Begin by gathering all your ingredients. In a large bowl, combine the pineapple juice, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.
- Place the chicken thighs into a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure each piece is well-coated. Seal the bag tightly and refrigerate for at least 60 minutes, or overnight.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken thighs from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade. Grill the chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side, ensuring they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight. Adjust the soy sauce for saltiness and use fresh pineapple juice for the best flavor.
