Delicious Philly Cheesesteak Bowls loaded with tender steak, sautéed peppers, onions, and gooey cheese, perfect for a low-carb dinner.

- 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup provolone or mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Cauliflower rice, mashed potatoes or rice, for serving
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Slice the steak thinly against the grain.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Sear the steak with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce for 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the steak and add onions and bell peppers to the skillet, sauté for 4-5 minutes, then add minced garlic for an additional 30 seconds.
- Divide the base into bowls, top with steak and vegetables, sprinkle cheese, and broil for 1-2 minutes if desired.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Use quality meat for the best flavor, and don’t overcrowd the pan while cooking the steak.
