- 2 cups fresh basil
- 1 cup fresh parsley
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 1/2 tablespoons nutritional yeast (optional but recommended)
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup olive oil (or water or aquafaba)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Gather all the ingredients and measure them out for smooth blending.
- In a food processor, combine the pumpkin seeds, basil, parsley, garlic, nutritional yeast, and lemon juice.
- While blending, slowly stream in the olive oil. For a lighter texture, add water or aquafaba.
- Adjust consistency with more oil or water as needed, and season with salt and additional lemon juice to taste.
