- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, milk, cocoa powder, and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Once boiling, let it cook for 2 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat.
- Stir in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
- Mix in rolled oats and a pinch of salt.
- Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper and let cool until hardened.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week or refrigerate for up to two weeks. Use layers of wax paper to avoid sticking.
