Description

Delicious bars combining fudgy brownie base with creamy peanut butter cheesecake swirl.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch pan.
  2. Combine 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla until smooth.
  3. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Beat the cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla until smooth.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter and swirl it in with a knife.
  7. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of chocolate sauce for an indulgent touch.
