The ultimate treat for cookie lovers, combining rich Oreo flavors with creamy vanilla ice cream.


Ingredients

  • 8 Oreo cookies
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Whipped cream and chocolate syrup, for topping
  • Extra Oreo cookies for garnish, optional

Instructions

  1. Begin by placing the Oreo cookies into a thick freezer bag. Using a rolling pin, gently pound the cookies until they are crushed into small pieces.
  2. Pour the whole milk into a blender. Next, add the vanilla ice cream along with the crushed Oreo cookies. If using vanilla extract, add that in as well. Pulse the mixture a few times.
  3. Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy. If the milkshake seems too thick, add more milk until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Pour the milkshake into two tall glasses. Top with whipped cream, drizzle chocolate syrup over it, and garnish with an Oreo cookie on top. Serve immediately with a straw and a spoon.

Notes

For an even richer flavor, use chocolate ice cream. You can also substitute whole milk with low-fat or almond milk.
