Description

Oreo Balls are delightful treats that combine the classic flavors of Oreos and cream cheese, coated in chocolate, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (milk, dark, or white for coating)
  • Sprinkles or crushed Oreos for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until they are fine crumbs.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese and mix until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each Oreo ball into melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off, and place back on the parchment paper.
  7. If desired, sprinkle with crushed Oreos or decorations while the chocolate is still wet.
  8. Allow the chocolate to set before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled or at room temperature; can store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
