  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced sausage to the pot and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
  4. Add the penne pasta, chicken broth, heavy cream, and Cajun seasoning to the pot. Mix everything well.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer, stirring occasionally until the pasta is cooked and the sauce has thickened (about 10-12 minutes).
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
