A delightful blend of creamy Alfredo sauce, spicy Cajun flavors, and tender chicken, all cooked in one pot for a hassle-free meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 12 ounces uncooked fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add fettuccine to the skillet, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Slice the cooked chicken.
  5. Once pasta is tender, stir in Parmesan cheese, sliced chicken, parsley, and butter. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Cajun seasoning for a few hours before cooking. Adjust heat level according to preference.
