Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 12 ounces uncooked fettuccine pasta
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add fettuccine to the skillet, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Slice the cooked chicken.
- Once pasta is tender, stir in Parmesan cheese, sliced chicken, parsley, and butter. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Cajun seasoning for a few hours before cooking. Adjust heat level according to preference.
