Description
A nostalgic treat combining crunchy pecans with a caramel-like filling, coated in powdered sugar and chocolate.
Ingredients

- 2 cups pecans, chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt. Stir until smooth and boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and chopped pecans.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then shape it into logs.
- Roll the logs in powdered sugar until coated.
- Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler, then dip the ends of each log into the chocolate to coat.
- Place on wax paper to cool and set.
