Instructions
- Preparation: Gather all your ingredients. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Mixing: In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Cooking: Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir gently until just mixed. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly greased with butter or cooking spray. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Finishing: Serve warm with your choice of syrup, butter, or fresh fruit.
Notes
For a decadent twist, add chocolate chips to the batter. If storing, keep pancakes in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
