- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until well combined.
- Scoop out a tablespoon of cookie dough, flatten it, place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center, and fold the dough around it.
- Place the cookie balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use room temperature butter for better texture and consider chilling the dough if it’s too soft.
