Nutella Banana Swirl Muffins

Irresistible muffins featuring ripe bananas and swirls of creamy Nutella.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add the melted butter and mix well. Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  3. Add the baking soda and salt to the banana mixture. Gradually mix in the flour until just combined. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full with batter, then add a spoonful of Nutella on top of each muffin. Use a knife to swirl the Nutella into the batter.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes clean. Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
