- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- Nutella, for swirling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin.
- Mash the ripe bananas until smooth, then mix in the melted butter.
- Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until well blended.
- Stir in baking soda and salt, then gradually add flour, mixing until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into muffin cups, filling halfway and adding Nutella on top.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the tin before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for the best sweetness. Don’t over-mix the batter for lighter texture.
