Description

A delightful dessert that captures the essence of summer with a creamy texture and vibrant citrus flavor, reminiscent of orange creamsicle ice cream treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create a firm crust.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Add the orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture. Fold gently until fully combined.
  5. Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust and smooth the top.
  6. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  7. Once set, carefully release the cheesecake from the springform pan, slice, and serve chilled.

Notes

Serve plain or with whipped cream and orange zest. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
