- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well blended. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust and spread it evenly.
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or until it’s set.
- Once set, top with cherry pie filling before serving.
Notes
For best results, chill the crust for 15-20 minutes before adding the filling. Serve chilled for optimal texture.
