Ninja Creami Frozen Hot Chocolate Ice Cream

Description

A creamy and dreamy dessert that captures the essence of hot chocolate in a frozen form, perfect for chocolate lovers.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 2 packets (1.38 oz each) hot chocolate mix
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Pour milk into a microwave safe container and microwave until hot but not boiling (about 50 seconds).
  2. Add hot chocolate mix to the hot milk and whisk to dissolve completely.
  3. Add heavy cream to the mixture and whisk to combine.
  4. Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and let it cool to room temperature. Transfer to the freezer and freeze for at least 24 hours.
  5. Process the frozen base in the Ninja Creami using the Ice Cream function.
  6. Check the consistency, and if crumbly, use the Re-spin function or add a tablespoon of milk and Re-spin again.
  7. If desired, create a well in the ice cream, add mini marshmallows, and use the Mix-in function to combine.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and a sprinkle of cocoa powder. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.
