  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (from 12 lemons)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest (from 1 lemon)
  • 1 cup cold water (or just enough to blend smoothly)
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients. Ensure you use frozen blueberries straight from the freezer to achieve a perfectly icy consistency in your sorbet.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the frozen blueberries, granulated sugar, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, cold water, and salt. Blend until the mixture is smooth and fully combined. If the mixture is too thick, add a bit more water to help with blending.
  3. Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami container and make sure it’s level. Secure the lid and place it in the freezer. Let it freeze for at least 24 hours or until completely solid.
  4. After the mixture has frozen, remove it from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes. Then, process it in the Ninja Creami according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Once processed, the sorbet should be creamy and fluffy.
