- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, stir together the flour and baking soda.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until creamy.
- Add in the vanilla and eggs, beating well until smooth.
- Gradually blend in the flour mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow cooling on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
Serve warm or with cold milk. Cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
