A delightful twist on traditional pizza combining earthy mushrooms and peppery arugula on a crispy crust, cooked in one pan.

- 1 pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups arugula
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Roll out the pizza dough and place it over the mushrooms in the skillet.
- Spread marinara sauce over the dough and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Cover the skillet and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes until dough is cooked and cheese is melted.
- Add arugula on top in the last few minutes and cover again until wilted.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or oven to maintain crispness.
