- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter and chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract and salt until well combined.
- Gently fold in Rice Chex cereal, ensuring each piece is coated.
- In a large plastic bag, add powdered sugar and transfer the chocolate-covered cereal. Seal the bag and shake to coat thoroughly. Spread on a baking sheet to cool, then break into pieces and enjoy.
Notes
For a different crunch, substitute Rice Chex with Corn Chex or add nuts. Can be served with vanilla ice cream or as part of a dessert table.
