Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almond butter (or peanut butter, cashew butter)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey, agave)
  • 1 tsp pure mint extract
  • 1/4 tsp green food coloring (optional)
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (or chopped dark chocolate)
  • 23 tbsp unsweetened almond milk (or water)

Instructions

  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients and measuring them out.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Next, add the almond butter, maple syrup, mint extract, and food coloring. Stir until you create a thick, uniform dough.
  4. Once combined, fold in mini chocolate chips. Scoop out small amounts and roll into balls.
  5. Refrigerate the protein balls for about 30 minutes to firm up. They are ready to enjoy!
