Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Optional: sliced jalapeños, cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the cubed Velveeta cheese, diced tomatoes with green chilies, and milk.
  2. Stir continuously until the cheese melts and the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the ground cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder to the mixture. Stir well to combine all the flavors evenly.
  4. If desired, mix in sliced jalapeños for an extra kick. Serve warm with tortilla chips and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently and add a splash of milk if necessary.
