- 1 block firm tofu
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili paste
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess water and cut it into cubes.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, chili paste, maple syrup, lime juice, salt, and pepper, then pour over the tofu and stir to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Press tofu thoroughly for best texture and use fresh garlic for maximum flavor.
