Description

A refreshing summer drink made with layers of mango and strawberry, perfect for cooling down on a hot day.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen mango chunks (or fresh, frozen first)
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup coconut water or regular water
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 3 tbsp honey or agave
  • 1/2 cup coconut water or regular water
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Tiny pinch of salt
  • Mint leaves (for garnish)
  • Chia seeds (for garnish)
  • Coconut cream (for garnish)
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • White rum or vodka (for adults)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine mango chunks, honey or agave, coconut water, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
  2. In another blender, blend strawberries, honey or agave, coconut water, lemon juice, and a tiny pinch of salt until silky and smooth.
  3. Add a layer of the mango mixture to glasses, followed by the strawberry layer. Gently swirl to create a marbled effect.
  4. Serve immediately, garnished with mint leaves, chia seeds, coconut cream, and a splash of vanilla extract. Add alcohol if desired.

Notes

This drink is best served fresh but can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 days.
